Look for visible signs like reddish-brown patches on the body or undercarriage. Additionally, check for bubbling paint, flaking metal, or any metal areas that feel weak or brittle.
Once rust starts, it can spread quickly if left untreated. Moisture, especially in saltwater or acidic environments, accelerates the rusting process. So if you notice rust on your car, it’s important to get it inspected and repaired as soon as possible, before the problem worsens.

Repairing rust on a vehicle involves several steps to remove the rust and prevent it from returning.
